The Britton-Hecla Braves basketball team (Britton, SD), was overwhelmed 69-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Groton Tigers (Groton, SD)
The Tigers now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 20. Groton will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-13.
The Braves (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Hitchcock-Tulare triumphed over Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 52-49, in a non-league contest.
