Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA), 48-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 22-0. Liberty Christian won 77-29 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
