Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS), 58-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northwest Rankin upgrades its record to 26-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 21-12. Jackson Prep won 41-36 in their recent non-league bout against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS)
