California High School Basketball - Fremont thwarts Leigh

The Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA), 55-47 in Friday's non-league test.

The Firebirds (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Alisal (Salinas, CA). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 22-2 record. In their last test, Alisal notched a victory over Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA), 52-24, in a league test.

The Longhorns now own a 11-15 record.
