The Trinity Celtics basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Sedgwick Cardinals to 48 in the Celtics non-league triumph on Friday.

The Celtics now sport a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ell-Saline for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Trinity will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 54-34 non-league win over Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-9.

The Cardinals (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Remington (Whitewater, KS). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Remington was nudged by Moundridge (Moundridge, KS), 57-48, in a non-league contest.
