In Friday's non-league battle, the host Hoover Buccaneers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the LaGrange Grangers.
The Buccaneers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Huntsville (Huntsville, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Huntsville was nudged by Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Grangers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record.
