The Bears now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Independence for a non-league outing on Saturday, February 17. Arvin will confront a Falcons team coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Chavez (Delano, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
Next, the Spartans confront the Tehachapi Warriors (Tehachapi, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 17. South will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Hanford West (Hanford, CA).
