Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rochester Zebras (Rochester, IN), 55-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Peru upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wabash (Wabash, IN) to play the Apaches in a bout on Friday, February 23. The Apaches come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Wabash won 39-27 in their recent league bout against Whitko (South Whitley, IN)

Next up, the Zebras play the Maconaquah Braves (Bunker Hill, IN) in a bout, on Friday, February 23. Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Culver Academies (Culver, IN).
