Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA), 10-9 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dunwoody for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 21. Whitewater will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the East Coweta Indians (Sharpsburg, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 27. Union Grove will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 16-9 non-league win over Mount Pisgah Christian (Johns Creek, GA).
