The Natalia Mustangs softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Boerne-Champion Chargers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Natalia improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Edison (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Golden Bears in a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Friday, February 16. The Golden Bears come into the game with a record of 0-2. Edison lost 5-2 in their recent non-league game against Chapin (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Harper Longhorns (Harper, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 16. Boerne-Champion will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-3 non-league Midland Christian (Midland, TX).
