California High School Softball - Buchanan nudges Edison

Buchanan Bears (Clovis, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arroyo Grande for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29.

With the loss, Edison falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Clovis East (Clovis, CA) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 23. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
