Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blanco for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. Midland Christian will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Comfort falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats/deer travel to El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to battle the Aztecs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Aztecs enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. El Dorado won 15-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bandera (Bandera, TX)
