Memorial Mustangs (Houston, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Westside Wolves (Houston, TX), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aldine for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. Memorial will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-7 non-league loss to Morton Ranch (Katy, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Westside falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Paetow (Katy, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Paetow won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Cypress Creek (Houston, TX)
