Washington, DC High School Basketball - Long Island Lutheran bested by Sidwell Friends

Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) supporters left the game happy Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Long Island Lutheran Crusaders (Brookville, NY), 67-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sidwell Friends advances its record to 22-3 on the year. The Quakers travel to Bullis (Potomac, MD) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, February 24. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 21-6. Bullis won 80-56 in their recent non-league match against Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC)
The Crusaders now own a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gill St. Bernard's for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Long Island Lutheran will face a Knights squad coming off a 84-52 non-league win over Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 13-3.
