Maine High School Ice Hockey - Freeport drops to Thornton Academy

In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans ice hockey team scored a tight 6-0 win over the Freeport Falcons.

The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Windham (Windham, ME). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Windham was trounced by Edward Little (Auburn, ME), 5-1, in a league test.

Next up, the Falcons encounter the Scarborough Red Storm (Scarborough, ME) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 19. Freeport will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Red Storm enter the test with a 9-7 record after their 4-2 league win over Lewiston (Lewiston, ME).
