Palm Beach Central Broncos (Wellington, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the visiting Dwyer Panthers (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), 11-10 in a non-league battle.
The Broncos now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jupiter for a 2A D13 match on Tuesday, February 22. Palm Beach Central will play a Warriors team coming off a 10-9 non-league win over St. John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Dwyer drops to 0-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach, FL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 22. The Crusaders go into the match with a record of 0-0.
