The El Modena Vanguards lacrosse team scored 14 points and limited the host Irvine Vaqueros to 4 in the Vanguards non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Vanguards (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights enter the Independent game with a 0-0 record.
The Vaqueros (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Edison (Huntington Beach, CA). The Chargers come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Edison thwarted Canyon (Anaheim, CA), 14-7, in a non-league test.
