The crowd at Thursday's league test between the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) and the visiting Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA), saw South Paulding's soccer squad knock off Carrollton by a margin of 3-1.
The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass for a non-league game on Friday, February 18. South Paulding will play a Colonels squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Colonels record now stands at 4-2.
The Trojans (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots go into the AAAAAA Region 5 game with a 6-1 record.
