California High School Baseball - Hoover loses to Oakwood

The Hoover Tornados baseball team (Glendale, CA), was overwhelmed 6-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA)

The Owls now hold a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica for a Liberty outing on Tuesday, February 21. Oakwood will confront a Seawolves team coming off a 18-5 non-league loss to Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA). The Seawolves record now stands at 0-2.

Next, the Tornados confront the Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, February 20. Hoover will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Aztecs go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA).
