Mississippi High School Baseball - Independence loses to North Delta

The North Delta Green Wave baseball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Independence Wildcats to 4 in the Green Wave non-league victory on Friday.
The Green Wave (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Carroll Academy (Carrollton, MS). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Carroll Academy was overwhelmed by Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS), 10-4, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Independence falls to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Vardaman (Vardaman, MS) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
