Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) and the host Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), saw Mentorship Academy's basketball squad wallop Albany by a tally of 62-38.
With the victory, Mentorship Academy betters its record to 12-13 on the campaign.
The Hornets (1-19) will now prepare for their contest against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, St. Charles Catholic was routed by Newman (New Orleans, LA), 72-35, in a non-league contest.
