Kansas High School Basketball - Newton trounced by Andover

The Andover Trojans routed the host Newton Railroaders basketball team by a final score of 70-20 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 21. Andover will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 68-59 non-league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, KS).

The Railroaders (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Maize (Maize, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Maize trounced South (Salina, KS), 82-41, in a non-league battle.
