Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting New Albany Bulldogs (New Albany, IN), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Bedford North Lawrence upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Stars host Jasper (Jasper, IN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Jasper won 55-36 in their recent non-league bout against Pike Central (Petersburg, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Brownstown Central Braves (Brownstown, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 18. New Albany will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 59-45 league win over Eastern (Pekin, IN).
