Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY), 92-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highlands upgrades its record to 19-7 on the campaign.

Next up, the Tigers play the Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) in a District 35 bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Beechwood will attempt to upgrade on its 10-18 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 17-5 record after their 90-86 non-league loss to St. Henry (Erlanger, KY).
