In Friday's league match, the visiting Tara Trojans basketball team scored a good 49-38 triumph over the Belaire Bengals.
In their next game, the Trojans face the East Iberville Tigers (St. Gabriel, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 18. Tara will attempt to move on its 8-23 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 8-10 record after their 85-36 non-league loss to University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA).
With the defeat, Belaire moves to 4-19 on the year.
