Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), 66-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clinton Prairie upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Tri-County (Wolcott, IN) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 9-11. Tri-County won 54-39 in their recent league bout against Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Tri-Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Deaf Hoosiers come into the bout with a 8-13 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN).
