The Hanson Beavers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Corsica/Stickney Jaguars to 36 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Beavers now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkton/Lake Benton for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. Hanson will battle a Elks team coming off a 67-54 non-league loss to Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD). The Elks record now stands at 6-13.

The Jaguars (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Gayville-Volin was defeated by Scotland (Scotland, SD), 54-44, in a league outing.
