In Friday's non-league match, the host Morton Grove Academy Crescents basketball team scored a decisive 46-20 triumph over the Cruz Dragons.
In their next game, the Crescents meet the Harvest Christian Academy Lions (Elgin, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 18. Morton Grove Academy will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 22-9 record after their 52-47 non-league loss to Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL).
With the defeat, Cruz moves to 4-16 on the year.
