Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 68-66 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Walter Johnson upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign.
Next up, the Hornets play the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Damascus will attempt to upgrade on its 21-1 season record.
