Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) and the visiting Garrett Railroaders (Garrett, IN), saw DeKalb's basketball squad knock off Garrett by a tally of 55-43.

With the victory, DeKalb improves its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Barons host Heritage (Monroeville, IN) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 12-10. Heritage won 54-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Wayne Canterbury (Fort Wayne, IN)

Next up, the Railroaders play the West Noble Chargers (Ligonier, IN) in a Northeast Corner challenge, on Friday, February 24. Garrett will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record.
