In Friday's non-league outing, the George School Cougars (Newtown, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA), by a count of 63-60.
The Cougars (22-6) will now prepare for their outing against Haverford School (Haverford, PA). The Fords go into the non-league outing with a 13-12 record. In their last outing, Haverford School held off Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA), 65-46, in a league outing.
The Fords now hold a 13-11 record. They play next when they travel to William Tennent for a non-league outing on Friday, February 17. Haverford will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 71-61 league loss to Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 16-7.
