The Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) basketball knocked off the visiting Hillcrest Hornets (Springfield, MO), 69-55 in Friday's league test.
The Chiefs (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Lebanon (Lebanon, MO). The Yellowjackets go into the Ozarks test with a 7-10 record.
The Hornets now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Rolla for a Ozarks test on Tuesday, February 21. Hillcrest will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-59 league win over Central (Springfield, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-8.
