Tanalian Lynx (Port Alsworth, AK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Kalskag Grizzly Bears (Upper Kalskag, AK), 98-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tanalian upgrades its record to 8-11 on the season. The Lynx travel to Akiachak (Akiachak, AK) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Akiachak won 65-46 in their recent league bout against Kalskag (Upper Kalskag, AK)

Next up, the Grizzly Bears play the Akiachak Huskies (Akiachak, AK) in a 1A Greater Kuskokwim bout, on Friday, February 17. Kalskag will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 68-55 non-league loss to Tanalian (Port Alsworth, AK).
