Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lanier Christian Academy Lightning (Flowery Branch, GA), 71-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sherwood Christian Academy upgrades its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Valor Christian (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 23. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Valor Christian won 74-47 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Christian (Columbus, GA)
