Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pine City Dragons (Pine City, MN) and the visiting Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN), saw Pine City's basketball squad knock off Spectrum by a tally of 78-61.

With the victory, Pine City improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Dragons host Mora (Mora, MN) to play the Mustangs in a AA Section 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 17-4. Mora lost 65-52 in their recent league challenge against Milaca (Milaca, MN)

Next up, the Sting play the Big Lake Hornets (Big Lake, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 24. Spectrum will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record.
