Sedgwick Cardinals (Sedgwick, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sedgwick upgrades its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Remington (Whitewater, KS) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 11-7. Remington lost 44-31 in their recent non-league bout against Inman (Inman, KS)

Next up, the Celtics play the Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record.
