The Simpson Academy Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and held the host St. Joseph Catholic Bruins to 38 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 24-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Forest Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Simpson Academy will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 63-38 non-league win over Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 7-1.
