Virginia High School Basketball - Steward tops Walsingham Academy

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA) and the visiting Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA), saw Steward's basketball squad knock off Walsingham Academy by a tally of 50-37.
With the victory, Steward improves its record to 18-6 on the campaign.
Next up, the Trojans play the Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Walsingham Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-13 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 25-6 record after their 72-57 non-league win over Church Hill Academy (Richmond, VA).
