In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Rancho Bernardo Broncos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Pacific Ridge Firebird.
The Broncos (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Francis Parker (San Diego, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Firebird encounter the San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 28. Pacific Ridge will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Oceanside (Oceanside, CA).
