The Newton Railroaders basketball team (Newton, KS), dropped 41-31 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Andover Trojans (Andover, KS)

The Trojans now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salina Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 21. Andover will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 44-34 non-league loss to Valley Center (Valley Center, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-9.

The Railroaders (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Maize (Maize, KS). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-15 record. In their last battle, Maize dropped by South (Salina, KS), 41-38, in a non-league battle.
