Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN), 55-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bigfork upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Huskies travel to Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 21-2. Kelliher/Northome won 62-56 in their recent non-league bout against Nevis (Nevis, MN)

Next up, the Bears play the Roseau Rams (Roseau, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. Lake of the Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 64-56 non-league win over Warren-Alvarado-Oslo (Warren, MN).
