In Friday's non-league match, the host Bland Tigers basketball team scored a good 44-27 triumph over the Detroit Eagles.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Muenster Hornets (Muenster, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 21. Bland will attempt to move on its 26-3 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 27-7 record after their 64-23 non-league win over Boles (Quinlan, TX).
With the defeat, Detroit moves to 8-10 on the year.
