Bristol Bay Angels (Naknek, AK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nenana Lynx (Nenana, AK), 36-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bristol Bay upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Angels travel to Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Ninilchik lost 50-30 in their recent non-league bout against Cordova (Cordova, AK)

Next up, the Lynx play the Tri-Valley Warriors (Healy, AK) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Nenana will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 55-28 non-league win over Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK).
