Shining Star Sports Academy Panthers (Petersburg, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host DME Academy Blue DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL), 55-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Shining Star Sports Academy upgrades its record to 17-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) to play the Bucs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Bucs come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Blair Academy won 73-45 in their recent non-league bout against Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ)
