With the victory, Ell-Saline upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS) to play the Heat in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Heat come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Rural Vista [Hope/White City] won 38-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Wakefield (Wakefield, KS)

Next up, the Black Bears play the Moundridge Wildcats (Moundridge, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Sterling will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 53-25 non-league loss to Berean Academy (Elbing, KS).
