Michigan High School Basketball - Powers Catholic knocked off by Heritage

The Heritage Hawks basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers to 31 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dakota for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 22. Heritage will battle a Cougars team coming off a 55-36 non-league win over Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 11-10.
The Chargers (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 17-0 record. In their last contest, Carman-Ainsworth ran past Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI), 57-35, in a non-league contest.
