Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), 62-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mt. St. Joseph Academy upgrades its record to 12-12 on the season. The travel to Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 20-4. Bishop Shanahan lost 52-38 in their recent non-league bout against Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA)
