Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), 53-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Union County upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Webster County (Dixon, KY) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 8-16. Webster County won 60-55 in their recent non-league bout against Marshall County (Benton, KY)

Next up, the Cougars play the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. McLean County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-20 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 56-52 non-league loss to Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY).
