Shawnee Mission South Raiders (Shawnee Mission, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mill Valley Jaguars (Shawnee, KS), 53-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shawnee Mission South upgrades its record to 18-0 on the season. The Raiders host Olathe South (Olathe, KS) to play the Falcons in a Sunflower bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Olathe South won 48-38 in their recent non-league bout against Gardner-Edgerton (Gardner, KS)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Olathe North Eagles (Olathe, KS) in a Sunflower bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Mill Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 38-30 non-league loss to Olathe East (Olathe, KS).
