In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Taylorsville Tartars basketball team scored a tight 51-46 triumph over the Noxapater Tigers.
In their next game, the Tartars meet the Simmons Blue Devils (Hollandale, MS) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 22. Taylorsville will attempt to move on its 13-11 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 22-2 record after their 55-46 non-league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, MS).
With the defeat, Noxapater moves to 16-8 on the year.
